What To Expect
This programme has been designed to provide a balanced education through a critical study of the current dynamic and challenging business environment. It provides students with a broad-based business education helping students to develop personal and professional skills which will give graduates the confidence to pursue a successful business career, in Ireland or overseas.
You will have the opportunity to study a variety of business subjects as indicated below. Case studies and practical business projects are used to develop students’ analysis, communication and professional business skills. This programme prepares students for employment in a wide range of business areas and management functions of industrial, commercial and public enterprises, or as a self-employed individual.
Duration & Delivery
Three semesters in total (one academic year and one semester)
Year 1:
Semester 1- Monday 6-10pm night (mandatory) & either Tuesday, 6-10pm or Wednesday, 6-10pm. week, 6pm – 10pm
Semester 2- Monday, 6-10pm night (mandatory) & Wednesday, 6-10pm.
Year 2:
Semester 1- Monday, 6-10pm (mandatory) & either Tuesday or Wednesday, 6–10pm.
Commencement Date: This course commences in September each year. Early application is strongly advised as places are limited. It is also possible to take modules in ACCS mode over a longer period of time.
This programme runs under a blended delivery mode . While much of the course delivery will take place online, students will be required to attend campus at least twice per module over a semester. Students will have to attend on-campus during semester for some continuous assessment components and also final examinations at the end of each semester.
Applications
Ordinary Bachelor Degree in Business or equivalent qualification.

All part-time programmes at MTU will run subject to sufficient student numbers. Where a programme cannot proceed, applicants will be contacted and advised on alternative study options.

Part-Time Mode of Study
Please note that applicants will be required to pay an acceptance fee of €450 online if a place on a course is offered. This fee is deductible from the overall course fee.
